Norbreck - harbour porpoise, 2 grey seals 

North Shore - Grey seal (possibly same as one of above) 

Town Centre - Grey wagtail

Red Bank Road/Sainsburys - Kestrel (over)

Solaris Centre - Hummingbird hawkmoth (laying eggs on the cleavers aka goosegrass), red admiral, large skipper, comma, 2+ leaf cutter bees (likely to be Megachile willughbiella or M. centuncularis neither have been recorded in Blackpool before), 2 campion moth caterpillars (in the seedheads of the red campion)  

Sunday 29th June

North Shore - 2 Grey seals, 100 common scoters, 16 Sandwich terns, 2 lesser weaverfish, several meadow browns, red admiral

Devonshire Road Rock Gardens - Whitethroat (male singing), red admiral, 20+ large skippers, 20+ meadow browns, 5+ speckled woods, 5+ small skippers, many meadow grasshoppersmany iris sawfly caterpillars

Marton Mere LNR - adult + 2 juv great crested grebes, shoveler, barn owl, 12 long tailed tits, great spotted woodpecker

Warbreck Hill - moths: poplar grey, 2 marbled beauties, 13 heart & darts, 5 darrk arches, large yellow underwing, middle barred minor, others: 2 ruby tailed wasps, Ectemnius solitary wasp (ppreying on hoverflies), tree bees, speckled wood, large white, blue tailed damselfly, Sitticus pubescens (a jumping spider)

Saturday 28th June

North Shore - Grey seal 

Whitegate Drive - Fox 

Marton Mere LNR - 8 Song thrushes, lesser whitethroat

Starr Gate - Grey seal, 8 swifts

North Blackpool Pond Trail/kincraig Lake - Great spotted woodpecker, chiffchaff

Cooler than of late 12 - 16C, overcast, rain in afternoon, brisk E breeze

Starr Gate - 450 Common scoters, pergrine, 8 gannets, 6 common terns 

Watson Road - 80 - 100 Swifts

Marton Mere LNR - True bug Grypocorus stysi (no Lancashire records on the National Biodiversity Network), several meadow browns, small tortoiseshell, speckled wood, brown hawker, Cetti's warbler

North Shore - 2 Harbour porpoises, 3 grey seals

Zoo - Devil's coach horse beetle

15+ Bottle nosed dolphins working there way south over the lunchtime high tide, 3 grey seals, possible distant minke whale

Warbreck Hill - Ruby tailed wasp, 2-spot ladybird (seem to be very scarce this year - have you seen any?)

Warmer than the long term average for June 14-19C, 7 oktas cloud, light SE breeze 

New South Promenade - Grey seal, 5 juv 5-bearded rocklings, juv 4-bearded rockling, many sand gobies, 2 blennies.

Devonshire Rd/Warbreck Hill roundabout - Nice display of white clover, bird'sfoot trefoil and selfheal.

New South Promenade - 3 juvenile dabs, juvenile sole sp, many sand gobies, smelt(?) sp, many brown shrimps, octopus jellyfish, 2 Liocarcinus holcatus swimming crabs (cast shells), many green shore crabs, dead mens fingers, hermit crab (in a whelk shell)

North Blackpool Pond Trail Kincraig Lake Ecological Area - Mandarin, 4 adult + 3 immature great crested grebes, 2 blackcaps
