Over the holiday B & FC marine biology student Lee will be at the Solaris Centre with his touch-tank for you to explore and see our coastal wildlife close up
He will be available Wednesday 1st April 10 - 4pm then Monday - Wednesday 6 - 8th 10 - 4pm. Come along and ask him him all your marine biology questions.

Saturday March 22nd is National Community Clear Up Day. We’ll be holding a litter pick across the site to have a spring clean. We’re meeting at 10am at the new Visitors Centre and will split up across the site from there. This is open to everyone

On Sunday 15th March there will be a BEAT NatureWatch volunteer work party at Cherry Tree (11.00am - 3.00pm) to clear the margins of the pond for amphibians and reptiles.
All welcome, wear wellies or stout boots and thick gloves, bring your lunch. Meet at Asda car park at 10.45. Please contact David McGrath david.mcgrath @ blackpool.gov.uk (without the spaces) or 01253 478023 before lunchtime on Friday if you are coming along so we know how many tools are needed.

North Shore garden - Blackcap

North Pier - 5000 Starlings (roosted)

North Blackpool Pond Trail Kincraig Lake - Heron (on nest), great crested grebe, 7 teal, sparrowhawk, great spotted woodpecker

Saturday 28th February

North Shore Go-kart track - 2 Purple sandpipers, 180 redshanks, 26 turnstones
