The cooler than average conditions continue 1 - 9C mostly sunny with strong cold north westerly winds

Marton Mere LNR - Little grebe, song thrush, 4 Cetti's warblers

Stanley Park - Great crested grebe, 27 herons (at nests on the island), 30 tufted ducks, treecreeper, 2 goldcrests

Town Centre - 2 Grey wagtails

Volunteer Days at Marton Mere LNR are now every Tuesday 10am - 3pm - All welcome. Wear suitable footwear and bring your lunch.

There will be a children's birdwatching guided walk at Marton Mere LNR led by Dave McGrath on Friday 10th April, 2 - 4.00pm. Suitable for youngsters aged 8 and over. Please wear suitable footwear and bring binoculars and your camera if you have them.
