Another frosty start leading to a fine warmer than average day 1 - 14C sunny with a very light northerly wind

Solaris Centre - Tawny mining bee (1st record for here)

Town Centre - Grey wagtail, peregrine

Blackpool 6th form College - 2 Blackcaps, chiffchaff

New South Promenade - Grey seal, 21 Sandwich terns, 5 swallows

Marton Mere LNR - 4 Whitethroats, 4 blackcaps, 7 sedge warblers, 7 reed warblers, many willow warblers, skylark (over), 4 snipe, 45 pink footed geese (NW), many small tortoiseshells, several peacocks, comma

Volunteer Days at Marton Mere LNR are now every Tuesday 10am - 3pm - All welcome. Wear suitable footwear and bring your lunch.
