A little warmer 14 - 17C rain early on them sunny spells with a light south westerly wind

Robin's Lane - Song thrush, 3 frogs, several small skippers, large skipper, several meadow browns, many blue tailed damselflies, tall fescue grass, unidentified club-rush (a sedge), unidentified rush (a hybrid?)

Starr Gate - 2 Grey seals, 149 Manx shearwaters (N), 12 gannets (N), 126 common scoters, 2 whimbrels (S), 11 common terns.

Stanley Park - 2 Great crested grebes + 1 juv

Marton Mere LNR - 2 Kestrels + 4 juvs, 2 great crested grebes + 1 juv, 6 gadwall

Heron's Reach - Fox, Tufted duck + chicks

Solaris Centre - Pied wagtail, 3 small whites, early bumble bees, white tailed bumble bees, common darter nymph

Marton Mere LNR - 2 Common terns, peregrine, sparrowhawk, kestrel, buzzard, 2 great crested grebes + juvenile, 8sand martins, 750 starlings, comma butterfly, black tailed skimmer, broad bodied chaser dragonflies

New South Promenade - Manx shearwater, 2 gannets, little egret, collared dove

Solaris Centre - 2 Pied wagtails, small tortoiseshell butterfly, many cinnabar moth caterpillars

Devonshire Road Rock Gardens - Oystercatcher (heard over), 2 curlews (one heard one seen both W) blackcap, white letter hairstreak, comma, large white, several small skippers, some large skippers, speckled wood, several meadow brown butterflies, several field grasshoppers, many hoverflies of a large number of species,
