A mild February day 4 - 8C heavy rain in the morning bright sunny spells later with a brisk W wind

Marton Mere LNR - Barn owl, 5 Cetti's warblers, 2 snipe, buzzard, 6 song thrushes, 11 Gadwall, 2 great crested grebes, 7 goldeneyes, kestrel, 6 stock doves, goldcrest, water rail, 10 fieldfares

Town Centre - Grey wagtail

North Pier - 2000 Starlings (minimum in one flock seen going to roost probably many more)

Little Marton Windmill/WindmillWood - 2 Buzzards (over)

Lawson's Wetland - Stonechat

A mild day 4 - 9C sunny spells turning overcast with showers, light to moderate increasing SW wind

Marton Mere LNR - Raven (east fields), firecrest, 4 goldeneyes, pochard, buzzard, 125 lapwings (incl displaying), 100 fieldfares, 50 redwings (east fields), 3 tree sparrows, 2 Cetti's warblers, 7-spot ladybird, hartstongue fern

Lawson's Wetland - Stonechat

Salisbury Woodland - Scarlet elf cups still showing, 2 jays

Lawson's Field - 2 Bumble Bees, Sparrowhawk, 2 mistle thrushes

Lawson's Wetland - Stonechat

Starr Gate - Harbour porpoise, 3 red throated divers, 2 red breasted mergansers, 4300 common scoters

New South Promenade - Turnstone (on promenade near mirror ball - never seen one up there before), 500 common scoters, 3 eiders, great crested grebe

North Shore - Shelduck (N), red throated diver

Tuesday 17th February

Marton Mere LNR - Curlew (E), bullfinch 

New South Promenade - Mediterranean gull (S)

Monday 16th February

Washington Avenue - Frog

New South Promenade - 29 Redshanks, 19 turnstones, ringed plover

Solaris Centre - Magpie (S - very rare here)
