We'll be at the 'Paddock' gate all morning recording birds passing overhead and others using the nature reserve as a pit-stop. Join us for as long as you wish, bring binoculars if you have them. Wednesday 31st August

Marton Mere LNR - 2 Garden warblers, 2 Cetti's warblers, lesser whitethroat, 5 whitethroats, 7 chiffchaffs, 5 willow warblers, garganey, 9 shovelers, 40 tufted ducks, water rail


New South Promenade - Many Sand gobies, several juvenile blennies, many brown shrimps, common prawns, 3 green shore crabs, necklace shell with hedgehog hydroid, beadlet anemone


Tuesday 23rd August


Solaris Centre - Red admiral butterfly


 New South Promenade - 2 juvemile Common Starfish, lesser spotted catshark (dead) + mermaid's purse, hornwrack, beadlet anemone, many juvenile blennies, many sand gobies, many brown shrimps, many common prawns, several green shore crabs, 3 common sandpipers
