Warbreck Hill - moths: Light arches, six striped rustic
Marton Mere LNR - 3 Green sandpipers, curlew (over), water rail, 29 tufted ducks, 6 stock doves, 15 linnets
Stanley Park - Common blue butterfly
Friday 14th August
North Pier - 7 Barrel jellyfish (harmless)
Marton Mere LNR - 4 Gadwall, 5 shovelers, 29 tufted ducks, 6 stock doves

Starr Gate - 309 Sandwich terns, 11 common terns, Arctic terns, 24 kittiwakes (N), 94 sanderlings (S), 3 great crested grebes
Kingscote Park - Hetrotoma planicornis (a true bug - 4th Blackpool record - no other records in north Lancashire!), many common froghoppers, brown hawker dragonfly, butterflies: holly blue, 3 speckled woods, several white sp, meadow brown, cinnabar moth caterpillars, many wolf spiders,

Volunteer Days at Marton Mere LNR are now every Tuesday 10am - 3pm - All welcome. Wear suitable footwear and bring your lunch.
