WILDLIFE EVENT - Family Easter holiday rockpooling event at the Solaris Centre Friday 7^th April 2pm – 3pm near the Mirror Ball. Meet at the Solaris Centre, wear wellies or old shoes you don’t mind getting wet. Bring a net and bucket if you have them, a fine meshed net is best.
This event is FREE.

Milder than it felt 3 - 9C sunny with a strong cold easterly wind

This week is National Nest Box Week - Have you put yours up yet? Don't forget you can put up boxes/cavities for Swifts, cups for House Martins and Swallows and 'terraced' boxes for House sparrows as well as the more familiar hole boxes for blue and Great tits. Old boots and flower pots can make a come for robins and Wrens. Please send us your unusual nest box photos and especially if they get used  later in the season.
