Breezier than of late but very mild 8 - 15C mostly cloudy with an increasing north easterly wind

Watson Road Park - 10 Long tailed tits, 3 goldcrests, chiffchaff

Solaris Centre - Yellow browed warbler, wren

Revoe Park - Yellow browed warbler

Metropole hotel - Goldcrest

Gynn Gardens - Blackcap, goldcrest

Marton Mere LNR - Bittern, barn owl, 5 blackcaps, 10 pintail (over), coal tit, swallow, chiffchaff, 25 redwings, 7 stock doves, 5 water rails

EVENT - North Blackpool Pond Trail - Tuesday 1st Nov 10am - 12 noon - Autumn Explorer - Children's Activity. Your chance to find out about hibernation and how you can help wildlife during the winter. Free but donation to the Friends of the North Blackpool Pond Trail appreciated. Meet at the Community Orchard, Runcorn Avenue FY2 0PS

A chilly day 4 - 8C some sun with a cold northerly wind

Volunteer Days at Marton Mere LNR are now every Tuesday and Thursday 10am - 3pm - All welcome. Wear suitable footwear and bring your lunch.
