Marton Mere LNR - Firecrest, 2 goldcrests, 100 wigeon, 3 buzzards, 2 Cetti's warblers, little grebe, great spotted woodpecker, 150 coot
North Blackpool Pond Trail Kincraig Lake - 34 Magpies (roosting), 21 teal, great crested grebe
Saturday 31st January
Marton Mere LNR - Treecreeper, 2 goldcrests, 5 tree sparrows, 160 wigeon, 200 lapwing, 500 pink footed geese (over), 2 Cetti's warblers, water rail, stonechat, 2 great crested grebes
The Great grey shrike continues to frequent the rough field along Queensway just south of our border.
