Another cooler than average late April day 4 - 11C early rain then sunny spells with a brisk WSW wind

New South Promenade - 7 Gannets (S)

Marton Mere LNR - Little ringed plover, wigeon, 2 stock doves (on island - very unusual), lesser whitethroat, 4 swifts

Town Centre - Peregrine

Stanley Park - Treecreeper, several willow warblers, several blackcaps

Female house sparrow at the Solaris Centre

A cool April day with a frosty start -2 - 10C sunny spells, heavy showers later with an increasing westerly wind

Stanley Park - 2 Ospreys (over), 5 blackcaps, nuthatch, treecreeper, sparrowhawk, great spotted woodpecker, 6 willow warblers, 4 chiffchaffs, 2 coal tits

Marton Mere LNR - 2 Buzzards, common sandpiper, several speckled woods

North Shore - 5 Gannets (N), 4 red breasted mergansers (S)

New South Promenade - 2 Gannets (N)

Marton Mere LNR - 2 Little ringed plovers, 5 common sandpipers, 3 grasshopper warblers, little grebe, 6 whitethroats, several sedge warblers, buzzard, 2 linnets, water rail, 14 pink footed geese (N)

Marton - Blackcap

New South Promenade - Grey seal, 3 yellow wagtails (N), 3 red throated divers, whimbrel (N)

Town Centre - Grey wagtail

North Shore - 6 Sandwich terns, 3 eiders

Gynn Gardens - 4 Willow warblers

Stanley Park - Pied flycatcher, 2 treecreepers

Staining Nook - Buzzard

Marton Mere LNR - 4 Whitethroats, 4 blackcaps, 7 sedge warblers, 7 reed warblers, many willow warblers, skylark (over), 4 snipe, 45 pink footed geese (NW), many small tortoiseshells, several peacocks, comma
