EVENT - Wildlife recording walk at Marton Mere LNR Tuesday 6th September 1 - 3pm Meet at the Lawson's Road gate opposite the end of Lancaster Rd. Come along and see what autumnal species we have from birds to dragonflies to late blooming wildflowers. Free but donation to the Friends of Marton Mere would be appreciated

EVENT - Bird Migration Watch at Marton Mere LNR Sunday 25th September 9.00 - 12.00 Meet at Lawson's Road gate opposite the end of Lancaster Rd (FY3 9TB). Eyes to the skies! We'll be at the 'Paddock' gate all morning recording birds passing overhead and others using the nature reserve as a pit-stop. Join us for as long as you wish, bring binoculars if you have them. Free but a donation to the Friends of Marton Mere is appreciated.
