De Vere Hotel entrance pool - 9 Redwings

Marton Mere LNR - Weasel, firecrest, peregrine (over), 2 Long Eared Owls (undisclosed location due to previous disturbance from birdwatchers - please DO NOT leave the paths to look for/photograph these birds), little egret, jay, 4 mistle thrushes, Cetti's warbler

North Shore - 2 Eiders, 3000 comon scoters

Marton Mere LNR - Treecreeper, 2 goldcrests, 5 tree sparrows, 160 wigeon, 200 lapwing, 500 pink footed geese (over), 2 Cetti's warblers, water rail, stonechat, 2 great crested grebes
The Great grey shrike continues to frequent the rough field along Queensway just south of our border.
