A milder week 3 - 9C sunny spells with light to moderate onshore winds

Wednesday 18th February

Central Pier - 5000 Starlings

Marton Mere LNR- Bullfinch, 2 tree sparrows, 55 lapwings, 85 fieldfares, 4 redwings, 15 linnets, 2 Cetti's warblers, goldcrest, 2 Shelducks

Lawson's Wetland - Stonechat

Starr Gate - Harbour porpoise, 3 red throated divers, 2 red breasted mergansers, 4300 common scoters

New South Promenade - Turnstone (on promenade near mirror ball - never seen one up there before), 500 common scoters, 3 eiders, great crested grebe

North Shore - Shelduck (N), red throated diver

Tuesday 17th February

Marton Mere LNR - Curlew (E), bullfinch 

New South Promenade - Mediterranean gull (S)

Monday 16th February

Washington Avenue - Frog

New South Promenade - 29 Redshanks, 19 turnstones, ringed plover

Solaris Centre - Magpie (S - very rare here)
