Marton Mere LNR - Bittern, 3 little grebes, 10 redwings, 12 tree sparrows, great spotted woodpecker, 2 coal tits, 2 water rails

Stanley Park - 23 Gadwall, 7 shoveler, 2 oystercatchers (over)

Starr Gate - Harbour porpoise, grey seal, black guillemot (S), 2 guillemots, 1500 common scoters, 2 scaup, 43 red throated divers, 62 great crested grebes, eider

Saturday 26th November

Marton Mere LNR - Bittern, 3 little grebes, 200 teal, 25 gadwall, 3 buzzards, 4 water rails, 15 stock doves, coal tit

Friday 25th November

Town Centre - Twite, peregrine

Lawson's field - Ring necked parakeet

South shore - 2 Grey wagtails

Marton Mere LNR - 2 Little grebes, 4 water rails, 4 Cetti's warblers, 10 stock doves, 6 skylarks, 5 redwings, great spotted woodpecker

Thursday 24th November

Marton - 29 Pink footed geese (N)

Solaris Centre - 180 Pink footed geese (N)

Warbreck Hill - Woodcock, peregrine

Layton Cemetery - Ring necked parakeet

Marton Mere LNR - Treecreeper, 3 whooper swans, 80 wigeon, 5 snipe, 4 water rails, kestrel, 5 redwings, coal tit, buzzard, 8 long tailed tits, 3 goldcrests

EVENT - Marton Mere LNR Saturday 10th December 10am - 3pm Practical conservation day. Give volunteering at the nature reserve a try, get involved with a practical conservation task. This might be removing vegetation, clearing pathways or renovating benches or hides. The day's project will be confirmed prior to the event. Free but please book at marton.mere@blackpool.gov.uk
