North Blackpool Pond Trail Holyoake Avenue - 2 Common blue butterflies, 2 blue tailed damselflies, bee orchid (not in flower), 3 common broomrapes, 2 chiffchaffs, whitethroat

Devonshire Road Rock Gardens - Whitethroat, 2 blackcaps, 2 chiffchaffs, song thrush, 4 common blue butterflies, large skipper butterfly

Warbreck Hill - Oystercatcher (nesting somewhere on Unity Academy/Mexford House?)

Starr Gate - Fulmar (S), Arctic skua, 225 Manx shearwaters, 150 Sandwich terns, 36 kittiwakes (S), 18 gannets, 16 guillemots, 10 shelducks (S)

Salisbury Woodland Gardens - Nuthatch, great spotted woodpecker

Marton Mere LNR - 2 Gadwall, 2 shovelers, great crested grebe, kestrel, lesser whitethroat, 5 swifts

Saturday 3rd June

North Blackpool Pond Trail Holyoake Avenue - 2 Chiffchaffs, whitethroat, song thrush, bee orchid (not in flower), 3 common broomrapes

Stanley Park - 3 Goldcrests, 4 adult + 2 juvenile great crested grebes, treecreeper

Marton Mere LNR - Little egret, 2 shovelers, buzzard, kestrel, 2 oystercatchers, 2 lapwings, great spotted woodpecker (W), small copper butterfly

Friday 2nd June

New South Promenade - Little egret, thornback ray eggcase, several blennies, a few sand gobies, green shore crabs, brown shrimps, common prawns

Layton - Oystercatcher, swift

Heron's Reach golf course - Little grebe

Heron's Reach - 2 Toads, smooth newt, great crested newt

Staining Nook - 10 House martins

Marton Mere LNR - Bullfinch, 3 linnets, 5 Cetti's warblers, lesser whitethroat, skylark, great spotted woodpecker, 2 mistle thrushes, 3 kestrels, sparrowhawk, buzzard, 2 shovelers, 2 gadwalls

Solais Centre - Yesterday's solitary be was re-identified by an expert as Halictus rubicundus
