Warbreck Hill - Pink footed geese (heard flying over at 22.30)

Marton Mere LNR - 6 Cetti's warblers, 2 sand martins, 2 little grebes, 2 great crested grebes, 2 goldeneyes, 55 teal, 46 wigeon, 15 shovelers, 5 water rails, 2 oystercatchers, sparrowhawk, kestrel, buzzard, 12 stock doves, 8 fieldfares, 4 linnets, 2 skylarks, chiffchaff

Lawson's Wetland - Cetti's warbler

Stanley Park - 3 Oystercatchers

Preston New Road - Siskin

Solaris Centre - Meadow pipit (NW first of the year here)

New South Promenade - Harbour porpoise, grey seal, 500 common scoters, 2 red throated divers

Starr Gate - 20 Eiders, siskin (over), meadow pipits (over), pied wagtails (over)

Norbreck - 7 Curlews (N)

North Blackpool Pond Trail - 6 Herons, pochard, 2 tufted ducks, 2 shovelers, 2 teal, great crested grebe, grey wagtail, reed bunting

Nets at the ready, get your wellies on and we’re off! Join us for the first pond dipping event of the year – What will you find? Marton Mere LNR - Iceland gull, 140 coots, 4 goldeneyes, 45 shovelers, 2 great crested grebes, 2 oystercatchers

Lawson's Wetland - 7 Meadow pipits

Stanley Park - Rook (NE - very unusual here)

North Blackpool Pond Trail Kincraig Lake - Pochard, 2 shovelers, 3 tufted ducks, great crested grebe

Starr Gate - 18 Eiders, 2 red breasted mergansers, 2 red throated divers, shelduck, 25 pink footed geese (N)

Saturday 4th March

Marton Mere LNR - 153 Wigeon, 2 goldeneyes, 2 great crested grebes, 28 fieldfares, 6 Cetti's warblers, sparrowhawk, kestrel, great spotted woodpecker

Stanley Park - 2 Nuthatches, 47 coots, 46 tufted ducks, 38 shovelers, 11 gadwall, 24 herons (on island), 5 great crested grebes, 2 goldcrests, great spotted woodpecker, mistle thrush

Friday 3rd March

Preston New Road - 3 Siskins, 2 coal tits, 22 goldfinches

Devonshire Road Rock Gardens - Moorhen

Marton Mere LNR - 4 Goldeneyes, 18 shovelers, 2 great crested grebes, 25 fieldfares, 3 Cetti's warblers, 2 water rails

Starr Gate - Snow bunting, 7 whooper swans (N), eider, linnet

Thursday 2nd March

Town Centre - Grey wagtail, peregrine

North Blackpool Pond Trail Kincraig Lake - Redwing, 2 shovelers, pochard, 10 teal, great crested grebe
