A generally cool weekend for mid April -1 - 9C mostly sunny spells with some light rain on Saturday evening, winds light to moderate north westerly becoming westerly

Sunday 17th April

Stanley Park - Treecreeper, blackcap

Heron's Reach/Salisbury Woodland Gardens - several Willow warblers, chiffchaffs, blackcaps

Marton Mere LNR - 2 Little gulls, barn owl, house martin, grasshopper warbler, sedge warbler, 5 Cetti's warblers, blackcap, 5 willow warblers, sparrowhawk

Saturday 16th April

Heron's Reach - 2 Fox cubs

Stanley Park - Common sandpiper

Marton - Speckled wood butterfly

Marton Mere LNR - 2 Shelducks, 5 Cetti's warblers, 'many' willow warblers (incl Heron's Reach)

Friday 15th April

Warbreck Hill - 200 Golden plovers ( high W)

New South Promenade - 7 Turnstones

Marton - 4 Pink footed geese (N)

Lawson's Wetland - Cetti's warblers

Heron's Reach - Fox, horse leeches, great crested newts, smooth newts, marsh marigolds (flowering)

Marton Mere LNR - 2 Little gulls, whitethroat, barn owl, 5 blackcaps, sedge warbler, reed warbler, 7 Cetti's warblers, 2 linnets, 4 herons (SE)
