Colder than average for late January -4 - 6C fog, rain, low cloud and a little sunshine with a mostly light to moderate south easterly breeze.

Sunday 29th January

Stanley Park - Treecreeper, nuthatch, coal tit, 2 song thrushes

Marton Mere LNR - 4 Goldeneyes, 26 fieldfares, 9 stock doves, goldcrest, 3 Cetti's warblers

North Shore go-kart track - Purple sandpiper

Blackpool Old Road - Great spotted woodpecker

Saturday 28th January

Talbot Road - 4 Waxwings (SW)

Marton Mere LNR - Peregrine, sparrowhawk, kestrel, 20 fieldfares, great spotted woodpecker, 3 goldeneyes

North Shore go-kart track - 2 Purple sandpipers, 146 redshanks

Friday 27th January

Marton Mere LNR - Otter, Iceland gull, 4 goldeneyes, 2 sparrowhawks, 2 kestrels, 65 fieldfares, 2 great spotted woodpeckers, 4 Cetti's warblers, 11 chaffinches, 7 linnets, 25 lapwings

Lawson's Wetland - Woodcock, jack snipe, 16 snipe, water rail

North Shore go-kart track - 3 Purple sandpipers, 130 redshank
