Marton Mere LNR - Bittern, shoveler, 2 kestrels, 5 tree sparrows, 7 swifts

Sunday 16th July

Warbreck Hill - Ectemnius wasp

Mossom Nature Field - 20 Small skipper butterflies, many black tipped soldier beetles

Marton Mere LNR - Stoat, 5 teal, Cetti's warbler, common sandpiper

Heron's Reach golf course - 4 Little grebes

Saturday 15th July

Regency Gardens - Fox

Town Centre - 2 Peregrines

Stanley Park - Treecreeper, 2 great crested grebes

Marton Mere LNR - Common tern, 2 buzzards, kestrel, 2 lapwings, 5 tree sparrows

Friday 14th July

Starr Gate - Arctic skua, 160 common scoters, 20 Manx shearwaters  (N)

Marton Mere LNR - Bittern, common sandpiper, common tern

Stanley Park - Kestrel (very unusual here)

Town Centre - 2 Peregrines
Micro-moth Lozotaeniodes formosana at the Zoo bioblitz (a species currently in the process of colonising north Lancashire)
