Marton Mere LNR - Barn owl, buzzard, sparrowhawk, lesser whitethroat, curlew (W), 2 swifts, 2 common blue butterflies

Starr Gate - 22 Shelducks (S), 6 gannets (N), 2 Arctic skuas, 310 Sandwich terns

Bispham Road - Buzzard (S)

Warbreck Hill - House martin (N)

Saturday 19th August

Stanley Park - 20 House martins

Marton Mere LNR - Otter, 14 snipe, 2 bullfinches, 12 teal, 5 tree sparrows, swift

Devonshire Road Rock Gardens - Sparrowhawk, blackcap

Lawson's Wetland - Kestrel

Marton - Elephant hawkmoth

 Friday 18th August

Talbot Road - adult and juvenile Pied wagtail

Town Centre - Peregrine

Starr Gate - 5 Arctic skuas (S), 5 whimbrels (S), 20 kittiwakes (S), 18 gannets, 12 shelducks (S), 2 Manx sheawaters

Marton Mere LNR - 2 Otters 

Caunce Street - Painted lady butterfly

Thursday 17th August


Solaris Centre - painted lady butterfly

Town Centre - 3 Peregrines

Marton Mere LNR - 4 Peregrines, buzzard, sparrowhawk, kestrel, great spotted woodpecker, brimstone butterfly

Ferguson Road - Swift

Squires Gate - Swift

Starr Gate - 2 Arctic skuas, fulmar (S), 35 gannets (S), 185 Sandwich terns (S), guillemot

New South Promenade - very large 5 bearded rockling, blennies, green shore crabs, common prawns, brown shrimps, beadlet anemones, common sand stars   

Wednesday 16th August

New South Promenade - Painted top shell (1st record for Blackpool), blennies, sand gobies, beadlet anemones, green shore crabs, brown shrimps, common prawns, common otter shell, large necklace shell 

Starr Gate - 29 Gannets, 2 whimbrels (S), 2 great crested grebes, 190 Sandwich terns

Town Centre - 4 Ravens (SE), 2 peregrines

Beechfield Avenue - Swift

Marton Mere LNR - Buzzard 

Staining Nook - Great spotted woodpecker
5-bearded rockling
EVENT -  North Blackpool Pond Trail - Moth & Bat night - Saturday 26th August 8.00pm - Late. Meet at the bird viewing area at Kincraig Lake opposite the Spar on Kincraig Road FY2 0HN. Bring a torch and wear warm clothes - FREE
