Just a little below the average for the end of June 11 - 16C long sunny spells with a decreasing WNW wind

Thursday 25th June

North Shore - 2 Grey seals, 7 shelducks (N)

New South Promenade - Harbour porpoise, 5 gannets, 20 Manx shearwaters

Marton Mere LNR - 6 Bee orchids, celery leaved buttercup, marsh cudweed, common fumitory, 24-spot ladybird, picute winged fly, water rail, 5 Cetti's warblers, 2 lesser whitethroats, 100 swifts

Wednesday 24th June

Langdale Road - Kestrel

Town Centre - Grey wagtail

Tuesday 23rd June

South Pier - Many Moon jellyfish, a few lion's mane jellyfish, thornback ray mermaid's purse, dead dab, wireweed seaweed

North Shore - Grey seal

Starr Gate - 35 Common scoters, 7 gannets

Monday 22nd June

North Shore - Manx shearwater, 2 gannets

Marton Mere LNR - 7 Whitethroats, 6 blackcaps, 5 willow warblers, 4 chiffchaff
