Weekend Round-up 13th - 14th June

Cooler than average for mid June again 8 - 16C some sunshine but much high hazy cloud, light variable winds

Sunday 14th June

Heron's Reach golf course - 31 Marsh orchids, 3 bee orchids, pair + juv great crested grebes.

Warbreck Hill - May highflier moth (new for garden), 3 Tachystola acroxantha moths (scarce N of R Ribble), 5 swifts (1st of year here - very late)

Marton Mere LNR - Large skipper butterfly

Saturday 13th June

Bispham - 4 Manx shearwaters, 5 gannets, kittiwake, guillemot

De Vere Hotel entrance pool - Reed warbler

Marton Mere LNR - Grasshopper warbler, lesser whitethroat, 17 swifts, more marsh orchids slightly west & north of the 170

North Blackpool Pond Trail Holyoake Avenue - 35 Bee orchids, chiffchaff, whitethroat, sparrowhawk, 3 common blue butterflies, silver Y moth
