A proper summer's day at last 7 - 22C sunny with a gentle SE breeze

Devonshire Road/Warbreck Hill Road roundabout - Been mown but the birds foot trefoil has survived

New South Promenade - 3 Grey seals, 20 gannets, Manx shearwater, 2 'bait balls' of fish attracting large numbers of gulls, 8 common scoters

Stanley Park - 2 ad + 2 juv Great crested grebes, pochard, 2 tufted ducks

Marton Mere LNR - Buzard

Heron's Reach - 3 Bee orchids in flower

Volunteer Days at Marton Mere LNR are now every Tuesday 10am - 3pm - All welcome. Wear suitable footwear and bring your lunch.
