Temperatures a little above average for early February 3 - 9C, unsettled with rain at times and a strong south to south westerly wind

Sunday 7th February

Lawson's Wetland - Kestrel

North Blackpool Pond Trail Kincraig Lake - 4 Pochards, 12 teal, great crested grebe

Marton Mere LNR - Mediterranean gull, 5 goldeneyes, 6 pochards, 2 sparrowhawks, buzzard, 52 fieldfares, lesser redpoll, 60 linnets, 4 stock doves, coal tit

North Shore - Fulmar, gannet, 4 pintail (S), 7 eiders, rock pipit

Starr Gate - 4 Pintail, fulmar, shag, 21 little gulls, 8 kittiwakes

Saturday 6th February

Lawson's Field - Barn owl

Stanley Park - 15 Herons (at nests on north island)

North Shore - Great skua, shag, 4 little gulls

Marton Mere LNR - Mediterranean gull, treecreeper, 4 goldeneyes, 5 pochards, sparrowhawk, 6 mistle thrushes, 30 fieldfares

Friday 5th February

Lawson's Wetland - Kestrel

New South Promenade - 150 Sanderlings, 93 knot (a very high count for here)

North Blackpool Pond Trail - 3 Pochards, 10 teal

Marton Mere LNR - 75 Black Tailed Godwits (S), great crested grebe, 4 goldeneyes, 5 pochards, 6 stock doves, 44 fieldfares, 40 linnets, coal tit
