Devonshire Road Rock Gardens - 10 Redwings (roosted?), goldcrest, sparrowhawk

Poulton Old Road - Grey wagtail

North Blackpool Pond Trail - 27 Teal, chiffchaff

Lawson's Wetland - Water rail, Cetti's warbler

Starr Gate - Snow bunting, 2 scaup, 1255 common scoters, 89 red throated divers, 36 great crested grebes, 9 razorbills, 5 wigeon, 4 mute swans (very unusual here)

Marton Mere LNR - Long eared owl (Please stay on the paths and DO NOT enter the scrub to view these birds), Mediterranean gull, 4 goldeneyes, 200 coot, 3 water rails, 120 wigeon, 20 redwings, 160 fieldfares (possibly left roost), chiffchaff, Cetti's warbler, 2 goldcrests, 2 sparrowhawks, buzzard

Saturday 3rd December

Bloomfield Road football stadium - 30 Goldfinches (W)

Starr Gate - Harbour Porpoise, grey seal, 2 Scaup, 106 red throated divers, 1100 common scoters, 36 great crested grebes, 3 razorbills

Marton Mere LNR - 2 Foxes, 5 whooper swans (over), 2 Chiffchaffs, 2 goldeneyes, grey wagtail

Friday 2nd December

Warbreck Hill - Peregrine

Starr Gate - Velvet scoter, 2 scaup, 80 wigeon (S), 1600 common scoters, 38 red throated divers, 44 great crested grebes, 4 razorbills, guillemot

Thursday 1st December

Marton Mere LNR - Long eared owl (Please stay on the paths and DO NOT enter the scrub to view these birds), 4 goldeneyes, buzzard, 30 blackbirds, 8 song thrushes, 15 redwings, 5 fieldfares, 15 long tailed tits, Cetti's warbler

EVENT - Marton Mere LNR Saturday 10th December 10am - 3pm Practical conservation day. Give volunteering at the nature reserve a try, get involved with a practical conservation task. This might be removing vegetation, clearing pathways or renovating benches or hides. The day's project will be confirmed prior to the event. Free but please book at marton.mere@blackpool.gov.uk
