A slightly better day 4 - 12C mostly sunny spells with heavy sleety showers early evening, brisk NW wind.

Marton Mere LNR - Little egret (on scrape), swift, 3 grasshopper warblers, 9 whimbrels (east fields), lesser whitethroat, whitethroat, 6 sedge warblers common sandpiper, orange tip butterfly

New South Promenade - Grey seal

Stanley Park - 2 Common sandpipers, pochard

Heron's Reach - Orange tip butterfly

Volunteer Days at Marton Mere LNR are now every Tuesday 10am - 3pm - All welcome. Wear suitable footwear and bring your lunch.
