A cooler than average end to the week 9 - 17C mostly cloudy with some rain and moderate westerly winds

New South Promenade - 2 Harbour porpoises, 2 grey seals, 100 common scoters

Solaris Centre - Deptford pink still in flower, small tortoiseshell butterfly

Thursday 23rd July

Starr Gate - Grey seal

Whitegate Drive - 4 Swifts

Warbreck Hill - Pipistrelle bat (1st of year here - very late!)
Small tortoiseshell

Volunteer Days at Marton Mere LNR are now every Tuesday 10am - 3pm - All welcome. Wear suitable footwear and bring your lunch.
