Weekend Round-up 25th - 27th July

A cold weekend for the end of July 8 - 16C some sunshine and some heavy rain with variable moderate winds

Monday 27th July

Warbreck Hill - Peregrine

South Pier - Yellow legged gull, a mystery isopod (now identified as Idotea linearis), 2 lion's mane jellyfish, honeycomb worm reefs, many brown shrimps, gammarid shrimps, speckled sea louse, several juvenile green shore crabs

Sunday 26th July

Gynn Square - 10 Gannets, 4 eiders (N)

Saturday 25th July

Lindsay Avenue park - 5 Swifts

Marton Mere LNR - 14 Tufted ducks

Devonshire Road Rock Gardens - 10+ White letter hairstreaks

New South Promenade - 2 Grey seals

Volunteer Days at Marton Mere LNR are now every Tuesday 10am - 3pm - All welcome. Wear suitable footwear and bring your lunch.
