A little warmer than average for early April 8 - 11C sunny but feeling cold in the brisk north westerly wind.

Marton Mere LNR - 25 Sand martins, 5 Cetti's warblers, 5 blackcaps, 5 chiffchaffs, 2 willow warblers, 2 great crested grebes, 14 shovelers, 11 stock doves, 4 oystercatchers (over), sparrowhawk, buzzard

WILDLIFE EVENT - Family Easter holiday rockpooling event at the Solaris Centre Friday 7th April 2 - 3pm near the Mirror Ball. Meet at the Solaris Centre, wear wellies or old shoes you don’t mind getting wet. Bring a net and bucket if you have them, a fine meshed net is best.
This event is FREE.
