Cool overnight but about average during the day 8 - 17C mostly sunny with an increadsing north westerly wind

New South Promenade - Grey Seal, 100 Sandwich terns, sparrowhawk (S)

Marton Mere LNR - 2 Garganeys, green sandpiper, common sandpiper, garden warbler, lesser whitethroat, Cetti's warbler, 2 buzzards, kestrel, great spotted woodpecker, butterflies: 2 small coppers, 5 common blues, peacock, dragonflies: several common darters, several migrant hawkers, several brown hawkers.

Volunteer Days at Marton Mere LNR are now every Tuesday 10am - 3pm - All welcome. Wear suitable footwear and bring your lunch.
