Long weekend round-up 11th - 14th September

Warm for mid September 9 - 22C  mostly sunny with a moderate south easterly to easterly breeze

Monday 14th September

Victoria Hospital - Sparrowhawk

Town Centre - Peregrine

New South Promenade - 2 Grey seals, 8 gannets, 6 Sandwich terns, red throated diver, auk sp, peacock butterfly

Marton Mere LNR - Sand martin, 2 water rails, 6 Cetti's warblers, 2 lesser whitethroats,

Sunday 13th September

Solaris Centre - Stoat (1st record here - a really unusual sighting!), chiffchaff, migrant hawker dragonfly, painted lady, several small tortoiseshells, silver Y moth.

Saturday 12th September

Bispham cliffs - Grey seal, 2 wheatears, 2 meadow pipits, 10 pied wagtails, grey wagtail, barrel jellyfish

Stanley Park - 41 Gadwall

Friday 11th September

New South Promenade - Grey seal, 2 red breasted mergansers (S), 5 gannets, 3 Sandwich terns, red throated diver, auk sp.
