Average temperatures for the end of September but cold on Saturday night 4 - 17C mostly long sunny spells with very light winds

Sunday 27th September

Victoria Hospital - Fox (heard screaming at night), many pink footed geese (over during night), grey wagtail, migrant hawker

George Bancroft Park - 3 Goldcrest, chiffchaff

Stanley Park - 315 Coot, 100 mallards,wigeon, little grebe, 3 goldcrests

Marton Mere LNR - 500 Pink footed geese (S), 5 lapwings (E), water rail, grey wagtail (S), 3 Cetti's warblers

Saturday 26th September

Marton Drive - 30 Pink footed geese (S)

Warbreck Hill - 4 Siskins (3S + 1N), 51 pink footed geese (S), goldcrest, red admiral, migrant hawker

Marton Mere LNR - Bittern, Cetti's warbler, great spotted woodpecker

Pleasure Beach - 2 Coal tits, grey wagtail, 180 pink footed geese (S)


Friday 25th September

Stanley Park - 52 Gadwall (record count here?), 3 shovelers, 24 tufted ducks, 3adults + 2 juvenile great crested grebes, 2 goldcrests, treecreeper
