Cool overnight but an average September day 5- 17C mostly sunny with a light northerly breeze

Seasider's Way - Painted lady butterfly

New South Promenade - Grey seal, guillemot, red throated diver, 1000 common scoters

Warbreck Hill - Goldcrest

Solaris Centre - Blue tit (extremely rare here, last record was 2012 and previous one 2009), 3 goldcrests, 2 red admirals, 2 small tortoiseshells

Marton Mere LNR - Jay, grey wagtail, great spotted woodpecker, 30 goldfinches, lesser whitethroat

Volunteer Days at Marton Mere LNR are now every Tuesday 10am - 3pm - All welcome. Wear suitable footwear and bring your lunch.
