An average day for mid-March 6 - 9C showers early on then some sunshine with a brisk westerly wind

Marton Mere LNR - Little gull, common scoter, 60 teal, goldeneye, 3 great crested grebes, 4 Cetti's warblers, 2 oystercatchers

Stanley Park - Chough, 4 great crested grebes, nuthatch, chiffchaff

North Blackpool Pond Trail Kincraig Lake - 2 Pochards, 2 teal, 4 tufted ducks, great crested grebe

Devonshire Road Rock Gardens - Coal tit (singing), 2 song thrushes (singing), moorhen, frog spawn

Town Centre - 2 Grey wagtails

WILDLIFE EVENT - Family Easter holiday rockpooling event at the Solaris Centre Friday 7th April 2pm – 3pm near the Mirror Ball. Meet at the Solaris Centre, wear wellies or old shoes you don’t mind getting wet. Bring a net and bucket if you have them, a fine meshed net is best.
This event is FREE.
