Stanley Park - 2 Great crested grebes, chiffchaff

Marton Mere LNR - Iceland gull, 20 wigeon, shoveler, brimstone

Metropole Hotel - 2 Goldcrests

Town Centre - 2 Grey wagtails

Solaris Centre - 30 Meadow pipits

Heron's Reach - 4 Toads, 15 bee orchids, 2 small tortoiseshells, 2 peacocks

Monday 6th April

Staining Nook - 3 Chiffchaffs, 2 goldcrests

Marton Mere LNR - 84 Sand martins, 3 swallows, 3 goldcrests, 7 Cetti's warblers, water rail, 2 little grebes, Iceland gull, shelduck (S), goldeneye, 2 curlews (N), 2 tree sparrows, 3 chifchaff

North Blackpool Pond Trail horse paddock - 3 Wheatears

Sunday 5th April

Marton Mere LNR - 9 Teal, buzzard, redshank, 2 swallows, 6 sand martins, 2 oystercatchers, 2 kestrels, sparrowhawk, barn owl, peregrine, little grebe, goldeneye, 2 water rails, 7 Cetti's warblers

Anchorsholme - 3 Goldcrests

Starr Gate - Grey seal, 300 meadow pipits (N), 2 goldcrests

Saturday 4th April

Marton - Holly blue butterfly

Marton Mere LNR - Weasel, sand martin, 5 Cetti's warblers, 5 chiffchaffs, 4 stock doves, 2 little grebes, buzzard, water rail, goldeneye, 2 pochards, brimstone

Stanley Park - Chiffchaff

Herons Reach golf course - Chiffchaff

Salisbury Woodland - Great spotted woodpecker, nuthatch, 2 chiffchaffs, 2 goldcrests, 3 coal tits

Friday 3rd April

North Blackpool Pond Trail Kincraig Lake - 22 Whooper swans (NW), chiffchaff, 2 teal

Marton Mere LNR - Little grebe, goldeneye, peregrine, 30 snakeshead fritillaries

Starr Gate - Harbour porpoise, 2 velvet scoters (S), eider (N), 13 red throated divers, razorbill

North Blackpool Pond Trail football fields - Water rail (in ditch)

Lawson's Wetland - several Toads (croaking)

South Shore - 4 Goldcrests

Thursday 2nd April

Ashworth Road - Iceland gull

Marton Mere LNR - 130 Linnets, jay, 3 great crested grebes, 4 oystercatchers, goldeneye, 2 chiffchaffs, 2 whooper swans (N), water rail, 4 Cetti's warblers

Airport - Barn owl

Lawson's Wetland - Stonechat, Cetti's warbler

Volunteer Days at Marton Mere LNR are now every Tuesday 10am - 3pm - All welcome. Wear suitable footwear and bring your lunch.

There will be a children's birdwatching guided walk at Marton Mere LNR led by Dave McGrath on Friday 10th April, 2 - 4.00pm. Suitable for youngsters aged 8 and over. Please wear suitable footwear and bring binoculars and your camera if you have them.
