Weekend round-up Friday 10th - Sunday 12th April

A mixed weekend with rather cold nights and a very hot day 2 - 19C heavy rain, sunny spells with a strong mostly westerly wind

Marton Mere LNR - Common scoter, 4 oystercatchers

Anchorsholme - Redstart

Saturday 11th April

Marton Mere LNR - 2 House martins, 3 great crested grebes, snipe

Friday 10th April

Heron's Reach - 2 Willow warblers, 14 toads, frog

Carleton Crematorium - Song thrush, mistle thrush, 3 chiffchaffs, 2 swallows,

North Blackpool Pond Trail Kincraig Lake - 4 Tufted ducks, willow warbler

Marton Mere LNR - Osprey (N), reed warbler, 2 willow warblers, blackcap, 12 stock doves, swallow, goldeneye, 2 great crested grebes, little grebe, 100 pink footed geese (S)

Starr Gate - 2 Sandwich terns, 3 razorbills 16 eiders
