A cool start to the day 2 - 11C, mostly cloudy some sunny spells later with a light northerly wind

Marton Mere LNR - Osprey (N), 30+ willow warblers, 10 chiffchaffs, 10 blackcaps, 6 sedge warblers, 2 reed warblers, 2 shelducks, 3 oystercatchers, 75 sand martins, 30 swallows, 2 jays, 2 tree sparrows, toad

Lawson's Wetland - 2 Cetti's warblers

Gynn Gardens - Redstart, goldcrest

Bispham Cliffs - 3 Wheatears

Starr Gate - 2 Grey seals, 3 red throated divers, 4 Sandwich terns, rock pipit, kestrel (N), 20 eiders (S)

Volunteer Days at Marton Mere LNR are now every Tuesday 10am - 3pm - All welcome. Wear suitable footwear and bring your lunch.
