Monday 13th April

Another chilly start with a slightly warmer than average finish 2- 13C sunny spells with a blustery SW wind

Marton Mere LNR - 26 Golden plovers (N, now very scarce here), 34 sand martins, 2 house martins, 17 swallows, 3 willow warblers, 2 chiffchaffs, 2 blackcaps, 2 Cetti's warblers, redshank, 2 oystercatchers, peregrine (W), sparrowhawk, tree sparrow

Heron's Reach - 4 Blackcaps, 2 lesser redpolls,

Marton - Willow warbler, mistle thrush, sparrowhawk

Warbreck Hill - Chiffchaff

Town Centre - Peregrine, 2 swallows

Stanley Park - Tree pipit, 8 willow warblers

Starr Gate - Yellow legged gull, 5 Sandwich terns

Volunteer Days at Marton Mere LNR are now every Tuesday 10am - 3pm - All welcome. Wear suitable footwear and bring your lunch.
