Another hot day 11 - 23C sunny with a stiff south easterly breeze


Kingscote Park - Sand martin (SW), 2 swallows, oystercatcher (SW), migrant hawker dragonfly, several speckled woods, red admiral, large white, small white butterflies


Marton Mere LNR - Garden warbler, lesser whitethroat, little grebe, sparrowhawk, redshank, snipe, 15 teal, 6 swifts


Heron's Reach - 2 juv Little grebes, 2 oystercatchers, kestrel, 2 more dead shrews


Marton - 16 Long tailed tits (1st record in this garden), 2 red admirals


Washington Avenue - 2 Painted lady butterflies


New South Promenade - Grey seal


Staining Nook - Lesser whitethroat, 3 whitethroats, 10 house martins


Town Centre - Peregrine

EVENT - Everything about Birds at Kincraig Lake (FY2 0HN) Tuesday 23rd August  10am - 12 a lively family event to learn everything about birds with expert Charlie Pass. Free but donation to the Friends of the North Blackpool Pond Trail would be appreciated
