Marton Mere LNR - Black tailed godwit (S), kestrel, sparrowhawk, 6 stock doves, 2 great crested grebes, blackcap, 5 long tailed tits, great spotted woodpecker

Stanley Park - 2 Great crested grebes

Gynn - 3 Gannets

Saturday 30th July

Stanley Park - Great crested grebe

Marton Mere LNR - Goosander, 4 gadwalls, redshank, buzzard, sparrowhawk, great crested grebe + juv

Friday 29th July

Marton Mere LNR - Weasel, treecreeper, 6 oystercatchers (over), great crested grebe + juv, kestrel, 4 stock dove

EVENT - Marton Mere LNR  Wildlife Recording Walk Tuesday 2nd August 1pm - 3pm Meet at Lawson's Road gate (opposite Lancaster Road) Come along to learn about what species are around in the summer and how to identify them, from birds to butterflies, wildflowers to dragonflies. FREE but a donation to the Friends of MArton Mere would be welcome.
